The 3M™ cloth band 341D is a 1" diameter by 1" wide abrasive cloth band featuring 60 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing for fast continuous cutting and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding and shaping, making it suitable for blending corners, contour finishing, deburring, deburring internal diameters, grinding, and polishing, including polishing internal diameters. It is designed to fit onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately) for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, this band is highly durable, provides a fast cut rate, and is commonly used in metalworking and woodworking on materials including ferrous alloys. The resin bond secures the abrasive particles to the cloth backing to withstand high heat and pressure. Available in a range of widths and lengths to suit various contours and tasks, it is often utilized in foundry work and metal fabrication industries.
