This bearing features an outer ring constructed from accurately drawn thin special steel plate, along with needle rollers that may include a retainer. It is recognized for having the smallest sectional height and weight among all needle roller bearings while offering relatively high load ratings. Needle roller bearings with a retainer are suitable for high-speed applications due to the precise guidance provided by the retainer and thrust ring. It is important to note that these bearings do not come pre-packed with lubricant, necessitating proper lubrication upon use.
