Iko machined type needle roller bearings feature a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, without an inner ring. They boast a low sectional height, large load ratings, and high rigidity, but come without seals. Users must apply proper lubricant as prepacked grease is not included with this series. The GTR series consists of full complement bearings equipped with mallet-shaped rollers that are guided by a guide rail and groove to reduce skewing, making them suitable for applications involving heavy loads, shock loads, or oscillating motions. These needle roller bearings are primarily designed to be used with shafts lacking inner rings, with a recommended shaft surface finish of 0.2MRA or less and shaft hardness ranging from HRC 58 to 64. If these specifications cannot be met, the use of Iko inner rings is advised.
