The IKO shell type needle roller bearing, part number BA1916ZOH, features a bore of 1-3/16 inches, an outer diameter of 1-1/2 inches, and a width of 1 inch. This bearing, often referred to as a drawn cup, is constructed from accurately drawn thin special steel plate and includes needle rollers, with or without a retainer. It is characterized by its small sectional height and weight while offering relatively high load ratings, making it suitable for high-speed applications when a retainer and thrust ring guide the rollers. Notably, shell type needle roller bearings are not pre-packed with lubricant, hence proper lubrication is essential during use.
