The Blue Giant® Fixed Head Pad Seal DS-D100V-40-10-C is designed to fit an 8' x 9' door with a 10" projection and features a 12" header drop curtain. This loading dock seal creates a tight, energy-efficient barrier to keep the dock area clean and safe during cargo handling when full access to the back of the trailer is not necessary. Key specifications include a 10" projection, a 40 oz. hi-tear vinyl base fabric, and a single head pad that measures 10' wide x 10" projection x 12" high. The design incorporates a waterproof wraparound construction with a vapor barrier, compression release holes, and condensation draining vents, along with 99% memory foam for effective sealing. The kit includes galvanized mounting hardware. Manufacturer-installed options available upon request include an 18" high head pad for sealing trailers up to 13.5' high, 4", 8", or 16" wear flaps tailored to site requirements, a 12" PVC drop curtain for improved sealing of lower trailers, and pressure-treated lumber.
