The IKO eccentric cam follower features a metric design with an eccentric collar, full complement, crowned outer diameter (OD), hex hole, and double sealing, measuring 22mm in OD and 12mm in width, with an M10 x 1.0 thread. These cam followers are constructed with needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring to endure heavy rolling or shock loads. Available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, the crowned design alleviates uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. Two internal designs are offered: one with a cage for high-speed applications and another with a full complement for heavy load handling. Cam followers serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions, making them ideal for machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment thanks to their high rigidity and accuracy. The eccentric collar facilitates easier positioning of the outer ring in the radial direction against the mating track surface. Typically, cam followers come prepacked with grease; if not, lubrication must be provided through the oil hole, and adequate lubrication between the cam followers and the steel track is essential to prevent seizure and reduce friction. An appropriate nut is included with the stud.
