The Iko cam follower features a full complement design with a screwdriver slot, double sealed, and measures 3" in outer diameter (OD), 1-3/4" in width, and has a 1-1/4 - 12 thread. This cam follower consists of needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring, providing the capability to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. Cam followers are offered with options for cylindrical or crowned outer rings, with the crowned design alleviating uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. There are two internal configurations available: one with a cage designed for high speed and another featuring a full complement suitable for heavy loads. These cam followers serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions and are widely utilized in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to their high rigidity and accuracy. They come pre-packed with grease, and additional lubrication is necessary between the cam followers and the steel track on which they operate to prevent seizure and minimize friction. An appropriate nut is also included with the stud.
