The Iko cam follower features a diameter of 1/2" and a width of 11/32", equipped with a No. 10-32 thread. This full complement cam follower includes a screwdriver slot and is double sealed to enhance durability. Constructed with needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring, it is designed to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. Available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, the crowned design helps alleviate uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting, providing superior performance. There are two internal configurations: one with a cage for high-speed applications and another with a full complement design for handling heavier loads. This cam follower serves as a follower bearing suitable for cam mechanisms or linear motions, making it widely applicable in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to its high rigidity and accuracy. Additionally, it comes pre-packed with grease, though further lubrication is necessary between the cam follower and the steel track to prevent seizure and minimize friction. An appropriate nut is included with the stud for easy installation.
