The IKO cam follower-inch is a heavy-duty, full complement bearing designed for high-performance applications, featuring a hex hole, with a diameter of 5/8" and a width of 7/16". It incorporates needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring to endure heavy rolling or shock loads, making it suitable for demanding environments. The cam follower is available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, with the crowned design specifically engineered to alleviate uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during installation. This product comes in two internal designs: one with a cage for high-speed applications and the other featuring a full complement for handling heavy loads. Commonly used in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment, these cam followers ensure high rigidity and accurate performance. They are delivered with pre-packed grease, requiring sufficient lubrication between the cam followers and the steel track to prevent seizure and reduce friction. Additionally, an appropriate nut is included with the stud for ease of installation.
