The IKO cam follower is designed with a full complement, featuring a screwdriver slot, a 3/4" outer diameter, 1/2" width, and a 3/8 - 24 thread. This cam follower consists of needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. It is available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, with the crowned option alleviating uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. The internal designs include one with a cage suitable for high speeds and another with a full complement suited for heavy loads. These cam followers, which serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions, are widely utilized in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to their high rigidity and accuracy. The cam followers come pre-packed with grease, and sufficient lubrication is required between the cam followers and the steel track on which they run to prevent seizure and reduce friction. An appropriate nut is also included with the stud.
