The IKO cam follower features a caged design with a crowned outer diameter (OD) and is equipped with a screwdriver slot and double seals. With a diameter of 3/4" and a width of 1/2", it has a 3/8 - 24 thread. These cam followers utilize needle rollers, a stud acting inner ring raceway, and a thick-walled outer ring that provides the capability to endure heavy rolling or shock loads. They are available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, with the crowned design specifically addressing uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. The cam followers come in two internal designs: one featuring a cage for high-speed applications and another with a full complement suitable for heavy loads. These cam followers serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions, making them well-suited for use in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to their high rigidity and accuracy. Additionally, these cam followers are pre-packed with grease, and sufficient lubrication between the cam followers and the steel track is essential to prevent seizure and reduce friction. An appropriate nut is also included with the stud.
