Iko cam follower-inch features a full complement design, hex hole, double sealed structure with a 1-1/4" outer diameter (OD), 3/4" width, and a 1/2 - 20 thread. The cam followers are constructed with needle rollers and a stud acting inner ring raceway within a thick-walled outer ring, making them capable of withstanding heavy rolling or shock loads. They are available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, with the crowned version designed to alleviate uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. Two internal designs are offered: one featuring a cage for high-speed applications and another with a full complement for handling heavy loads. These cam followers serve as follower bearings for cam mechanisms or linear motions and are commonly used in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to their high rigidity and accuracy. Each cam follower is pre-packed with grease to ensure sufficient lubrication, which is also required between the cam followers and the steel track on which they operate to prevent seizure and reduce friction. Additionally, an appropriate nut is included with the stud for easy installation.
