The Iko Eccentric Cam Follower features a metric design with an eccentric collar, a full complement of needle rollers, and a crowned outer diameter (OD) of 35mm with an 18mm width and M16 x 1.5 thread. This cam follower is engineered to handle heavy rolling or shock loads, thanks to its stud acting inner ring raceway and thick-walled outer ring. Available with either cylindrical or crowned outer rings, the crowned design helps mitigate uneven loads caused by deflection, bending, or misalignment during mounting. Two internal designs cater to different applications: one with a cage for high-speed operations and another with a full complement to support heavy loads. These cam followers are ideal for cam mechanisms or linear motions and are commonly utilized in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices, and office automation equipment due to their high rigidity and accuracy. The eccentric collar simplifies the radial positioning of the outer ring against the mating track surface. Most cam followers come prepacked with grease; however, if not indicated, lubrication must be provided through the oil hole. Adequate lubrication between the cam followers and the steel track is essential to prevent seizure and reduce friction. An appropriate nut is included with the stud for installation.
