The Iko non-separable yoke type roller follower is a full complement bearing featuring an inner ring, side plates, and a thick-walled outer ring designed to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. The surface is treated with black oxide coating for enhanced durability. This roller follower is available with either crowned or cylindrical outer rings; the crowned design alleviates edge load caused by mounting errors, while the cylindrical option is ideal for applications with significant loads or low track surface hardness, providing a large contact area with the mating track surface. Adequate lubrication is essential between roller followers and the steel track on which cam followers operate to prevent seizure and minimize friction.
