The Iko non-separable yoke type roller follower is a full complement bearing designed with an inner ring, side plates, and a thick-walled outer ring, making it capable of withstanding heavy rolling or shock loads. This roller follower features a black oxide coating for enhanced durability and is available with either crowned or cylindrical outer rings. The crowned outer ring minimizes edge load caused by mounting errors, while the cylindrical outer ring is ideal for applications involving large loads or low track surface hardness due to its larger contact area with the mating track surface. Proper lubrication is essential between roller followers and the steel track on which cam followers operate to prevent seizure and reduce friction.
