The IKO non-separable yoke type roller follower is a full complement bearing featuring an inner ring, side plates, and a thick-walled outer ring designed to withstand heavy rolling or shock loads. Its surface is treated with a black oxide coating for enhanced durability. Roller followers are available with either crowned or cylindrical outer rings; the crowned design alleviates edge load resulting from mounting errors, while the cylindrical variant is ideal for applications involving large loads or low track surface hardness due to its extensive contact area with the mating track surface. Adequate lubrication between the roller followers and the steel track is essential to prevent seizure and minimize friction.
