The IKO machined type needle roller bearing features a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, designed without an inner ring. These bearings are characterized by a low sectional height, large load ratings, and rigidity, with most models equipped with seals. Prepacked lubricant is typically not included, except for double sealed bearings with the suffix UU, in which case proper lubricant must be applied during use. These machined type needle roller bearings are intended for use with shafts that lack inner rings, with a recommended shaft surface finish of 0.2 MRA or less and a shaft hardness of HRC 58 to 64. If these criteria cannot be met, the use of IKO inner rings is advised.
