IKO machined type needle roller bearings consist of a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, without an inner ring. They feature low sectional height, large load ratings, and high rigidity, with most bearings being equipped with seals. Prepacked lubricant is not provided except for double sealed bearings (suffix UU), and proper lubricant must be applied for use. These bearings are generally utilized with shafts that do not have inner rings, and a shaft surface finish of 0.2MRA or less, along with a shaft hardness of HRC 58 to 64, is recommended. If these specifications cannot be met, the use of IKO inner rings is advised.
