Iko machined type needle roller bearing is designed with a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, and it does not include an inner ring. This bearing type features low sectional height, large load ratings, and rigidity, and is supplied without seals. It is crucial to apply proper lubricant during use, as prepacked grease is not included in these series. The GTR series consists of full complement bearings equipped with mallet-shaped rollers that are guided by a guide rail and groove to reduce skewing. These bearings are ideal for applications involving heavy loads, shock loads, or oscillating motions. Machined type needle roller bearings are typically used with shafts that lack inner rings, and a shaft surface finish of 0.2 MRA or less with a hardness between HRC 58 to 64 is recommended. If these specifications cannot be met, the use of Iko inner rings is advised.
