IKO machined type needle roller bearings consist of a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, without an inner ring. They feature low sectional height, large load ratings, and rigidity, with no seals included. Proper lubricant must be applied during usage, as prepacked grease is not provided for these series. The GTR series comprises full complement bearings with mallet-shaped rollers that are guided by a guide rail and groove to minimize skewing, making them suitable for applications involving heavy loads, shock loads, or oscillating motions. These machined type needle roller bearings are generally designed to be used with shafts that do not have inner rings, and it is recommended to have a shaft surface finish of 0.2 MRA or less and a shaft hardness between HRC 58 to 64. In cases where these criteria cannot be met, the use of IKO inner rings is advised.
