The NeatHeat baseboard front cover is constructed from polymer, with end caps made of melt-proof ABS plastic, able to withstand temperatures up to approximately 460 degrees F. This product is specifically not intended for use with electric baseboard heat and is designed to be installed over existing baseboard heaters, facilitating easy installation without the need for special tools. NeatHeat covers are compatible with 7-7/8" baseboard and can be used on common brands such as Slant Fin series #15, #30, and #2000, Sterling series Petite 7, Suntech, and Weil McLain, although it is advisable to verify specific measurements due to the presence of many lesser-known brands. For lengths exceeding 6 feet (72 inches), multiple lengths of NeatHeat must be joined using an optional splice part. The product's design prioritizes safety by eliminating sharp edges, protecting against accidental contact with the sharp fins inside. NeatHeat is durable, will never rust, and does not require replacement over time.
