The NeatHeat baseboard front cover is constructed from polymer, with end caps made of ABS plastic, providing a melt-proof capability up to approximately 460 degrees F. This product is not intended for use with electric baseboard heat. Designed for 7-7/8" baseboard, NeatHeat can be easily installed over existing baseboard heaters without the need for special tools, as it snaps on in a quick and efficient manner. It offers a protective solution against sharp edges, making it safer for children and pets by preventing access to the sharp fins inside the baseboard heater. NeatHeat is designed to fit common brands such as Slant Fin Series #15, #30, and #2000, Sterling Series Petite 7, SunTech, and Weil McLain, among others. For installations exceeding 6 feet (72 inches) in length, multiple sections of NeatHeat must be joined using an optional splice part. The product will never rust or require replacement, ensuring long-lasting durability.
