The NeatHeat baseboard front cover is constructed from polymer, with end caps made of ABS plastic, designed to be melt-proof up to approximately 460 degrees F. This product is specifically not intended for use with electric baseboard heat. It is easy to install, snapping on over existing baseboard heaters without the need for special tools, allowing for quick installation throughout your property. NeatHeat is durable, ensuring it will never rust or require replacement, and features a design that eliminates sharp edges to protect against potential injuries from children's fingers touching the sharp fins inside the baseboard heaters. The cover is suitable for 7-7/8" baseboards and is compatible with common brands such as Slant Fin series #15, #30, and #2000, Sterling series Petite 7, Suntech, and Weil-McLain, though it is advised to verify specific measurements due to the presence of many lesser-known brand names. If the measurement exceeds 6 feet (72 inches), multiple lengths of NeatHeat must be installed using an optional splice part.
