The NeatHeat baseboard front cover is constructed from polymer, while the end caps are made of ABS plastic, making them melt proof up to approximately 460 degrees F. Designed specifically for 7-7/8" baseboard heaters, this product is not intended for use with electric baseboard heat. NeatHeat easily snaps on over existing baseboard heaters, allowing for a quick installation without special tools, and can be used throughout the entire property. It is compatible with common brands such as Slant Fin Series #15, #30, and #2000, Sterling Series Petite 7, Suntech, and Weil McLain; however, it is essential to check specific measurements, particularly for lengths greater than 6 feet (72 inches), as multiple lengths will require optional splice parts. The NeatHeat cover will not rust or need replacing, features no sharp edges for safety, and serves to protect against accidental contact with sharp fins inside the heater.
