The enclosures are designed for durability in corrosive environments while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance. They feature corner latches that allow unobstructed access, a continuous hinge for a secure seal, and double latching for enhanced security. Made from compression-molded fiberglass, these enclosures offer outstanding chemical and temperature resistance, as well as excellent weatherability and physical properties. The fiberglass can be easily punched, drilled, filed, or sawed. Each enclosure includes a gasket for a water-tight and dust-tight seal, polyester mounting brackets, and stainless steel attachment screws. Scratch-resistant polycarbonate windows are permanently bonded, while molded-in-place threaded brass inserts and plated steel screws enable the mounting of optional panels and terminal block kits. The removable hinged cover is attached with a Type 316 stainless steel hinge pin, and screw-cover enclosures are secured with two captivated Type 316 stainless steel slotted cover screws. Enclosures equipped with quick-release latches feature corrosion-resistant polyester latches that provide unobstructed access. The hinge pin and bail are also made of corrosion-resistant Type 316 stainless steel, and each latch includes padlock provisions for added security.
