The Hoffman Q251815ABE Qline™ J box is a screw cover enclosure designed for type 4X applications, measuring 250x175x149 mm and constructed from ABS material. This Qline™ E enclosure is suitable for housing larger controls and offers a range of size options with enhanced internal mounting flexibility compared to smaller Qline products. It features contoured bodies with flush cover screws for optimal functionality in corrosive environments and can endure occasional submersion. The enclosure includes impact-resistant properties, with opaque and clear covers made from polycarbonate for the PCE series and opaque covers from ABS for the ABE series. Both polycarbonate and ABS materials allow for easy modifications through punching, drilling, filing, or sawing. The enclosure is equipped with strong and durable polyamide cross-point flush cover screws, a molded-in wire lead hole, and mounting tracks along the body side walls to facilitate PC card installation. Additionally, molded internal pads are included for mounting optional panels, rails, and other components. A seamless foam-in-place gasket ensures a watertight and dust-tight seal, and the materials used are halogen-free.
