QLine™ D polycarbonate and ABS enclosures feature contoured bodies with flush cover screws, offering a contemporary appearance while ensuring toughness and functionality in corrosive environments, with the capability to withstand occasional submersion. The ABS series presents a more economical, non-UL rated alternative with similar physical properties to the polycarbonate series. The bodies are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate for the PCD series and ABS for the ABD series, with opaque and clear covers also crafted from these materials. The polycarbonate is easily manipulated through punching, drilling, filing, or sawing. The enclosures boast straight side walls that allow for ganging multiple units, and stainless steel cross-point captivated cover screws. Mounting holes are molded directly adjacent to these screws, with removable caps providing aesthetic appeal and tamper resistance. Molded internal pads facilitate the mounting of optional panels, rails, and other components with panel mounting features available on both the body and cover. A seamless foam-in-place gasket guarantees a water-tight and dust-tight seal, and screws are provided for the mounting of optional panels. The materials used are halogen-free.
