The foot guards are metal shields designed to offer comprehensive protection for the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects as well as accidental tool blows. They can withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds, incorporating a substantial safety factor. These foot guards are compatible with any shoe, featuring sizes in 5" (average) and 5-1/2" (large) widths, and are lightweight enough for comfortable all-day wear. To ensure proper positioning, the guards include a rubber toe clip, crossbar, and either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap (LS) with a spring fastening device. Available in either aluminum alloy or steel, both materials offer equal protection. The standard foot guard comes equipped with a partial rubber sole and a rubber toe clip, with the option to replace it with a steel toe clip (ST). In compliance with federal regulations, these foot guards provide protection that meets ANSI-Z41 standards.
