The foot guards are metal shields designed for maximum protection of the entire foot, including the instep and toes, against falling, rolling, or flying objects and accidental tool blows. They are engineered to withstand an impact of 75 foot pounds, featuring a large safety factor. The foot guards are compatible with any shoe (no rights or lefts), available in 5" (average) and 5-1/2" (large) widths, and are lightweight for all-day comfort. They include a rubber toe clip, crossbar, and can be secured with either a one-piece rubber strap with a tension buckle or a two-piece leather strap (LS) with a spring fastening device. The foot guards are offered in aluminum alloy or steel, providing equal protection from both materials. Standard options include a partial rubber sole or rubber toe clip, with an optional steel toe clip (ST) available. In compliance with federal regulations, these guards provide protection meeting ANSI-Z41 standards.
