The 3M™ cloth band 341D measures 2" diameter by 2" width and features 80 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, offering fast continuous cut and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding and shaping, suitable for grinding to remove parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. The band fits onto a rubber wheel attachment, such as a cushion polishing wheel or rubber slotted expander wheel (sold separately), for use with a die grinder or rotary drill. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, it delivers fast cut rate, durability, and long life, compatible with a wide range of materials including ferrous alloys. The resin bonding withstands high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths to suit different contours and tasks, these bands are frequently used in foundry work, blending corners, contour finishing, deburring internal diameters, grinding, polishing both external and internal diameters.
