The 3M™ cloth band 341D, measuring 3" diameter by 1" width with 50 grit aluminum oxide abrasive, is a spiral band or short tube designed to conform to inner and outer contours for sanding and shaping. It features fast-cutting aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, providing fast continuous cut and long-life performance. This versatile band is suitable for grinding to remove parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as for shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. The 3M™ abrasive cloth band 341D fits onto a rubber wheel attachment, such as a cushion polishing wheel or rubber slotted expander wheel (both sold separately), for use with a die grinder or rotary drill.
