The 3M™ cloth band 341D measures 3/4" diameter by 1" width and features 50 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains that are resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, providing fast continuous cutting and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding, shaping, and grinding applications, including removing parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. It is designed to fit onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels, both sold separately, for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, the band is suitable for a wide variety of materials, including ferrous alloys, making it commonly used in industrial abrasive tasks. The resin bond creates a strong hold that withstands high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths, this band is ideal for blending corners, contour finishing, deburring internal diameters, grinding, and polishing in metal fabrication and foundry industries.
