The 3M™ abrasive cloth band 341D measures 3/4" in diameter by 1-1/2" wide with 36 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, providing fast continuous cut and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding, shaping, and grinding tasks to remove parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. It fits onto rubber wheel attachments, such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately), for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, it is suitable for a wide variety of materials including ferrous alloys, offering high durability and resistance to heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths, it is frequently used for blending corners, contour finishing, deburring (including internal diameters), grinding, and polishing in metal fabrication and foundry industries. The product includes a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
