The 3M™ cloth band 341D is a spiral band or short tube measuring 3/4" diameter by 3/4" width, featuring P240 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains that are resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing for fast continuous cut and long-life performance. Designed to conform to inner and outer contours for sanding and shaping, it is suitable for grinding to remove parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. The 341D cloth band fits onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately) for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, it is a popular choice for industrial professionals due to its fast cut-rate, durability, and long life, and is usable on a variety of materials including ferrous alloys. The strong resin bond between abrasive particles and cloth backing withstands high heat and pressure.
