The 3M™ abrasive cloth band 341D measures 1" diameter by 1" wide with 40 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, providing fast continuous cut and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding, shaping, and grinding, effectively removing parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs from a range of materials including wood, fiberglass, ferrous alloys, and other metals. The band fits onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately) for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral known for its fast cut rate, durability, and longevity, the 341D cloth band adheres its abrasive particles with resin to withstand high heat and pressure.
