The 3M™ cloth band 341D is a 1" diameter by 1" width abrasive cloth band featuring P100 grit aluminum oxide grains that are resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing to ensure fast, continuous cutting and long-life performance. Designed as a spiral band or short tube, it conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding and shaping, and is suitable for grinding to remove parting lines, seams, imperfections, and burrs, as well as shaping and smoothing wood and fiberglass. This band fits onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately) for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, it provides a fast cut rate and high durability, making it ideal for use on a wide variety of materials including ferrous alloys. The resin bond creates a strong adhesion capable of withstanding high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths to accommodate different contours, the 3M™ cloth band 341D is commonly used in metal fabrication, foundry work, and applications including blending corners, contour finishing, deburring internal diameters, grinding, and polishing internal diameters.
