The 3M™ cloth band 341D measures 1-1/2" diameter by 2" width and features 60 grit aluminum oxide abrasive grains resin-bonded to a durable cloth backing, providing fast continuous cut and long-life performance. This spiral band or short tube conforms to inner and outer contours for sanding, shaping, blending corners, contour finishing, deburring (including internal diameters), grinding, and polishing in metal fabrication and woodworking applications. It fits onto rubber wheel attachments such as cushion polishing wheels or rubber slotted expander wheels (sold separately) for use with die grinders or rotary drills. Constructed with aluminum oxide mineral, the band is suitable for use on a variety of materials including ferrous alloys, wood, and fiberglass. The resin bond secures the abrasive particles to the cloth backing, allowing it to withstand high heat and pressure. Available in various widths and lengths, it is commonly used in foundry work and metal fabrication industries.
