3M™ 60440235376 Hookit™ Paper Sheet 236U is a 3" x 4" P150 grit aluminum oxide sanding sheet designed for blending, finishing, and orbital sanding applications in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing. This durable sheet offers aggressive cutting and long life due to its premium aluminum oxide composition, featuring a strong C-weight paper backing that resists tearing and edge wear. It is resin-bonded for heat resistance, ensuring a prolonged lifespan and enhanced cutting performance on various materials, including paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites like fiberglass. The open coat structure and load-resistant coating improve dust management and cut-rate, allowing the sheet to maintain its effectiveness even when sanding softwoods and paints that typically cause clogging. The Hookit™ Paper Sheet easily attaches to a 3 x 4 inch (75 x 100mm) 3M™ Hookit™ pad (sold separately) on a compatible 3M™ orbital sander, allowing for quick changes between grades and the ability to reuse the sheet for extensive use.
