The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ clean and finish sheet measures 3-2/3" x 9" and features a conformable non-woven web combined with abrasive minerals such as talc, silicon carbide, or aluminum oxide to blend, clean, and finish various surfaces. The flexible sheet is designed for contour finishing, lacquer finishing, and polishing, effectively reaching hard-to-access areas to produce uniform results. It is suitable for cleaning, blending, and conditioning metals, wood, composites, and advanced surfaces, as well as for paint preparation, with applications in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing. The washable and reusable sheets resist loading, provide consistent conditioning throughout their life, and can be used by hand, with a hand pad block, or on an in-line sander for larger areas. Silicon carbide offers a sharp synthetic mineral ideal for low-pressure applications and finer finishes, aluminum oxide delivers high cut rates and long life, and talc serves as a mild abrasive for satin or high gloss finishes in topcoat rubbing. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives incorporate abrasive minerals within a non-woven fiber matrix, creating a unique surface conditioning system that runs cool, resists loading, and guarantees consistent results over the product’s lifespan.
