The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Sheet measuring 6" x 9" features a conformable non-woven web combined with talc abrasive mineral, designed to blend, clean, and finish various surfaces including metals, wood, composites, and advanced materials. The flexible sheet is effective for contour finishing, lacquer finishing, polishing, and reaching hard-to-access areas to produce a uniform finish. It is suitable for applications such as cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing, and is also effective for paint preparation. These washable and reusable non-woven open-web sheets resist loading and maintain consistent conditioning results throughout their lifespan. The sheets can be used by hand for precise control, with a hand pad block for uniform finishing, or on an in-line sander for larger coverage. Available abrasive mineral options include silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, and talc, where talc provides a mild abrasive action ideal for satin finishes or high gloss finishes in topcoat rubbing. The Scotch-Brite™ system integrates abrasives into a non-woven fiber matrix to deliver consistent performance, with open-web material that runs cool and resists loading, contributing to the product's longevity.
