The 3M™ Utility Cloth Sheet 211K is a lightweight cloth sandpaper measuring 9" x 11" with 240 grit aluminum oxide abrasive, designed for hand sanding and available in a range of grades for applications such as repairing metal finishes, rust or contaminant removal, deburring, blending, and surface preparation for paints and coatings. This closed coat product utilizes aluminum oxide, a durable mineral known for its fast cut rate and long life, suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It performs well in metalworking tasks including hand or machine deburring, metal cleaning prior to welding, rust and contaminant removal, blending and repairing metal finishes, fine sanding, polishing, and paint surface preparation. The cloth backing provides flexibility for sanding circular edges or small pieces without tearing easily or losing grit, and it can be torn by hand to size when needed. Key applications include cleaning, contour finishing, deburring, and rust removal, serving industries such as Marine and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO).
