The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Finish Roll 4" x 10 yds Aluminum Oxide Fin Grit is designed for finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning a variety of metals, wood, and plastic surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock can be easily cut to any length and provides consistent surface conditioning throughout its life. It features load resistance that keeps abrasive particles exposed to maintain a consistent cut rate. This general-purpose pad can be used by hand for precise control or paired with a hand pad holder, inline sander, or oscillating sander for uniform finishing over larger areas. The roll is manufactured with aluminum oxide, a hard, blocky mineral offering a high cut rate and long life. Scotch-Brite™ abrasives incorporate abrasive minerals into a non-woven fiber matrix, creating an abrasive system that delivers consistent results by limiting clogging and running cool due to its open-web material. The product is suitable for applications including blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding, primarily serving industries such as metalworking, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), and woodworking.
