The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ clean and finish roll measures 12" x 10 yds and features aluminum oxide VFN grit, delivering consistent results for finishing, blending, polishing, and cleaning on metals, wood, plastics, and hard-to-reach areas. The roll stock is easily cut to any length and provides consistent surface conditioning throughout its life. Load resistance technology maintains exposed abrasive particles to ensure a consistent cut rate. This general-purpose pad can be cut and used by hand for precise control or paired with a hand pad holder for uniform finishing, and it can also be used with inline or oscillating sanders to cover larger areas. The Scotch-Brite™ clean and finish rolls are available with silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, or talc abrasive minerals: silicon carbide is sharp and suited for low-pressure applications like paint preparation and finishing; aluminum oxide is hard and blocky, offering a high cut rate and long life; talc provides a mild abrasive suitable for satin finishes or high gloss finishes with polish. The abrasives are incorporated into a non-woven fiber matrix, creating an abrasive system that runs cool and resists loading, maintaining high performance by limiting clogging. Typical applications include blending, cleaning, contour finishing, finishing, and lacquer sanding, serving industries such as metalworking, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), and woodworking.
