The 3M Stikit paper refill roll measures 3-1/4" wide by 100" long and features silicon carbide abrasive with a 280 grit for fast cutting and load resistance, producing a smoother finish than aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. It is designed with an open coat abrasive that minimizes waste and provides bulk stock for high production environments. The Stikit pressure sensitive adhesive backing securely holds the paper during sanding and finishing, allowing quick and easy changes when the abrasive is worn out. The silicon carbide abrasive is a synthetic mineral ideal for final finishing in white wood sanding, breaking down faster than aluminum oxide but yielding a superior finish. The product is suitable for general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, preparation prior to staining or painting, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding.
