The 3M Stikit vibrator sander roll measures 4-1/2 inches wide by 10 yards long and features a silicon carbide abrasive with a 320 grit rating. The open coat abrasive of the 3M Stikit paper roll 426U is fast cutting, load resistant, and creates a smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. It is sized to fit various sanding blocks, minimizing waste and providing bulk stock suitable for high production environments. The Stikit PSA backing ensures secure product adhesion during use and allows for quick, easy change out when worn. Silicon carbide, a very sharp synthetic mineral commonly used for final finishing in white wood sanding, produces a superior finish though it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide. The roll is ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside, enabling convenient pressing onto a backup pad or hand pad and clean removal without contaminating the surface. Typical applications include general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, stain or paint prep, clear coat dulling, bare wood sanding, lacquer sanding, orbital sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture projects, and primary wood and panel processing industries.
