The 3M Stikit vibrator sander roll measures 4-1/2" wide by 10 yards long and features an 80 grit silicon carbide abrasive with an open coat design that is fast cutting, load resistant, and produces a smoother finish than aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. The Stikit paper roll 426U is sized to fit various sanding blocks, minimizing waste and providing bulk stock suitable for high production environments. It includes a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing that securely holds the abrasive to backup or hand pads during use and allows for quick and easy replacement when worn. Silicon carbide, a sharp synthetic mineral used for final finishing on white wood, produces a superior finish despite breaking down faster than aluminum oxide. This abrasive roll is ideal for general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, and preparation prior to staining, painting, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding. Applications include finishing, lacquer sanding, orbital sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, primary wood, and panel processing. The product is designed for use across cabinetry, custom woodworking, furniture manufacturing, and primary wood and panel processing industries.
