The 3M Stikit vibrator sander roll measures 4-1/2" W x 10 yd and features silicon carbide abrasive with 180 grit. Its open coat abrasive design provides fast cutting, load resistance, and produces a smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. The roll is sized to fit various sanding blocks, minimizing waste and offering bulk stock suitable for high production environments. The Stikit pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing securely holds the product during use and allows for quick, easy changes when worn out. Silicon carbide, a synthetic sharp mineral, is ideal for final finishing in white wood sanding, offering a superior finish though it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide. The product is intended for general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, preparation prior to staining or painting, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding. It is designed for applications such as finishing, lacquer sanding, orbital sanding, scuffing, sealant removal, varnish stripping, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture making, and primary wood and panel processing industries. The 3M Stikit roll comes ready to use with its pressure sensitive adhesive backing, which adheres cleanly to a backup or hand pad and removes without contamination for subsequent use.
