The 3M Stikit vibrator sander roll measures 4-1/2" wide by 10 yards long and features silicon carbide abrasive with a 220 grit specification. Its open coat abrasive design is fast cutting, load resistant, and produces a smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. The roll is sized to fit various sanding blocks, minimizing waste and providing bulk stock suitable for high production environments. It includes a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing that securely holds the product during use and allows for quick and easy change-out when worn. Silicon carbide, a synthetic mineral known for sharpness and final finishing capability, is ideal for white wood sanding, though it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide while producing a superior finish.
