The 3M™ full tapered cartridge roll 341D measures 1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1/8" and features a 60 grit aluminum oxide abrasive with a closed coat secured by a heat-resistant resin bond. Designed for metalworking applications, this cartridge roll fits onto a compatible cartridge roll mandrel (sold separately) that attaches to rotary tools such as die grinders or drills, allowing access to small, hard-to-reach spaces. The aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its fast cut-rate, long life, and toughness, self-fracturing to expose fresh cutting edges, making it suitable for grinding, sanding, and finishing a variety of materials including ferrous alloys. The heat-resistant resin bond maintains abrasive stability under high heat and pressure. This cartridge roll is ideal for blending, blending corners, contour finishing, deburring internal diameters, grinding, and polishing in metal fabrication industries.
