The 3M Stikit paper refill roll measures 3-1/4" W x 80" L and features silicon carbide abrasive material with a 150 grit. Designed for versatility, the open coat abrasive of 3M™ Stikit™ paper roll 426U delivers fast cutting performance, load resistance, and a smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives. This paper roll is specifically sized to accommodate various sanding blocks and minimizes waste, making it ideal for high production environments. The Stikit™ pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing securely holds the product in place during use, allowing for quick and easy change-out when worn. Suitable for numerous applications, it excels in general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, prep before staining or painting, clear coat dulling, and bare wood sanding. Silicon carbide, being a synthetic mineral, is very sharp and commonly employed for final finishing in white wood sanding; although it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it provides a superior finish. The 3M™ Stikit™ products come ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside for convenient attachment to a backup pad or hand pad, enabling clean removal without contaminating the surface for subsequent sheets.
